Joanne O’Brien is an Akashic Consultant who guides clients from confusion to clarity, despair to determination, apathy to excitement. While she has spent most of her working life as a singer and performer (while working in event production and owning a successful pet sitting service to help fund her art), it wasn’t until she was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma that she realized the importance of slowing down, creating boundaries, and the necessity of seeing hilarity in everything. A lifelong curious intuitive, she has directly studied under Brynne Dippell, Laura Day, Anne Jirsch, Pattie Canova, and Laurie Cabot; she is a Licensed Practitioner of Science of Mind; and furthered her training in the Consciousness Studies Master’s Program at the Holmes Institute. She brings all this knowledge and experience to her work as an Akashic Consultant. Her consultations combine humor, joy and, on occasion, irreverence to the world of self-reflection, and her goal is to ensure all her clients feel more grounded, see more clearly, and understand the next path to take on their journey.
She holds the following licenses:
Although not directly related to her intuitive work, she also holds a Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
I cannot recommend Joanne O’Brien highly enough for Akashic record readings. She started off by explaining what Akashic records are, how they’re given and received, and that it’s always about being open to love. She’s most certainly right about that - at least that’s what I got from her reading of my records! I started off insisting that I “listen better when I take notes,” even though she suggested I might want to record it. But after two minutes in, I knew I couldn’t really get it all and so I turned on my phone’s recorder, relaxed into my chair, and listened. My guides spoke to me through her with messages of loving support, guidance and comfort. I knew these guides intimately for they are my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, all of whom made their transition more than 45 years ago. Joanne never met them and knew very little about them, and yet they all spoke to me through Joanne as I knew them -- with all their human virtues, vices and quirks. Joanne is a clear vessel for the record keepers to share their information: They know that she has the highest regard for being given the honor to read these sacred “texts” for her clients. When Joanne finished my reading I told her, “The only thing I can think of that would top this would be if you sang my reading!” And for those who have ever heard Joanne sing, you know she has the voice of an angel.
